The Project Heart: Activities for the Classroom lesson plans designed for Grade 2 provide comprehensive, age-appropriate materials to teach heart-related anatomy, nutrition, and exercise. Goal: Students will understand that personal health decisions and behaviors affect their health. They will recognize that the body needs foods from all the food groups to receive the nutrients it needs to grow and stay healthy.
