What is heart block?
I was told that I had "Heart Block" through having an EKG. What is it and should I be concerned??

A heart block on an ECG is electrical. The heart has an electrical system that is largely self regulated and regulates the normal heart beat and heart rate. A block in the heart can be benign and cause no harm, or it can be serious and require more investigation and possibly treatment. It is best to talk to your doctor and see if you should see a cardiologist or if the block is benign.
